The Powys Teaching Health Board is seeking a Public Engagement and Involvement Coordinator at Band 5 level in Caerdydd. This role involves joining the Communication, Engagement, and Involvement team to recruit and support public members, service users, and caregivers in shaping health and social care research in Wales. The coordinator will manage communications with the research community, coordinate public involvement activities, and engage with diverse, underserved communities. Essential responsibilities include providing administrative support, organizing community events, maintaining contact with stakeholders, and delivering training programs on public involvement for both community members and researchers.

Candidates should possess excellent communication skills, have a proactive approach to meet service needs, and enjoy working collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. While the ability to speak Welsh is desirable, applications from both Welsh and English speakers are welcome. The position may close early if a sufficient number of applications are received.
