Mountbatten Hampshire is seeking a Director of Finance to lead their financial strategy and planning as part of their mission to provide palliative and end-of-life care to the community. The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant with substantial experience in financial management at a senior level, ideally within a charity context, and will oversee a budget exceeding £20 million. Responsibilities include developing and implementing financial strategies, ensuring effective budget management, and providing accurate financial reporting and analysis to key stakeholders. The role involves leading the Finance Team and ensuring compliance with all regulatory and accounting requirements while contributing to the wider strategic decisions of the organisation.

As a member of the Senior Management Team, the Director of Finance will work closely with the CEO and Trustees to drive the organisation’s vision and growth, particularly in light of rising costs and uncertain income streams. The postholder will also be responsible for maintaining high standards of operational financial management across all Mountbatten's activities, ensuring timely and accurate transactions and adherence to financial procedures. Additionally, the role includes fulfilling the duties of Company Secretary for the Group's companies.
