Depending on experience £25,000 to £27,000 pro-rata, depending on experience  PERMANENT 

Provide direct support to the PCN Manager such as diarising and administrating meetings and administrative support to PCN team

Co-ordinate and record meetings across the practices and PCN network;

Liaise with PCN clinical and administrative staff;

Co-ordinate training and development of PCN staff alongside HR Manager;

Action/follow up PCN correspondence;

Participate in relevant internal and external working groups;

Work collaboratively across the PCN and network;

Oversee processes to ensure timeliness e.g. yearly appraisals, policy reviews etc;

Contribute to project management functions e.g. action logs, risk registers;

Compile reports, newsletters and PCN-wide communications;

Ensure financial information is recorded and filed correctly;

Deal confidentially and efficiently with enquiries;

Communicate risks and issues appropriately;

Contact patients in case of staff absence;

Use NHS systems to access and record data e.g. EMIS, MAXIMS;

Provide HR administration support;

Other matters as they arise.


Wider responsibilities

Adhere to organisational policies and procedures including confidentiality, safeguarding and lone working;

Build relationships with the GP practices and wider stakeholders in Penwith ensuring a good knowledge of key contacts;

Identify opportunities and gaps in the service and provide feedback to contribute to business planning;

Contribute to the wider aims and objectives of the PCN to improve quality and support primary care

The post holder will contribute to the overall management and delivery of national and local Primary Care Network priorities and initiatives, by working closely with the PCN Manager, Clinical Director, and the Primary Care Network team.


Location
: Hybrid remote in Penwith, West Cornwall (Mostly remote with some face to face meetings in West Cornwall)

:32.5 per week
