Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Principal Pharmacist for a fixed-term position ending in December 2026, to lead the Pharmacy Digital Care team in transitioning from the Lorenzo to Cerner EPMA system. Candidates should possess strong digital and clinical skills, alongside experience in leading multidisciplinary teams and implementing change in healthcare settings. While familiarity with e-medicines management systems and ward-based medicines management is advantageous, the role emphasises expertise in e-medicines systems to enhance safe and efficient patient care.

As part of the Pharmacy Senior Management Team, the Principal Pharmacist will strategically collaborate with various stakeholders, including the EPMA Central Workstream Lead, other EPMA leads, and the Chief Pharmacist, to ensure a safe and effective implementation of the digital medicines agenda. Strong collaborative skills and the ability to influence others are crucial to success in this role, as the pharmacist will coordinate efforts across medical, nursing, pharmacy teams, Trust IT, and suppliers during the transition to the new system.
