The Neurosurgical Endoscopic Pituitary and Skull Base Fellowship at King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust offers a senior neurosurgical trainee a comprehensive twelve-month experience focused on the management of skull base, pituitary, and facial pain pathologies. This RCS-accredited clinical fellowship aims to equip the fellow with the necessary skills to pursue a consultant position by providing extensive operative experience, including performing 60 to 80 pituitary surgeries as a lead surgeon. The role also includes participation in the general neurosurgical rota and maintaining continuity of care for patients in their sub-specialty areas.

In addition to clinical responsibilities, the fellowship encourages research and publication opportunities, involvement in multidisciplinary meetings with various specialties, and attendance at national or international conferences. The fellow will engage in both formal and informal progress meetings with fellowship leadership and will be awarded the Royal College of Surgeons Certificate upon successful completion of the program. This position, emphasizing collaboration and patient care, will be available starting early September 2025.
