Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking two Speech Therapists to join their speech and language therapy department, specifically at Aintree Hospital, a key site for acute care. The roles include working within an acute inpatient stroke service and providing therapy across various specialties such as medicine and surgery. Ideal candidates will possess strong experience in adult acute inpatient settings, particularly in managing dysphagia. Both positions offer opportunities for professional development, including regular supervision, access to advanced assessment techniques like videofluoroscopy, and involvement in service improvements and research.

The successful applicants will be responsible for comprehensive patient assessments, diagnosis, and the implementation of treatment plans while collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient care. They will support and lead the development of junior staff, contribute to team audits, and participate in training sessions.
