The Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a dedicated Senior Clinical Engineer to join their team in Sheffield. The role involves providing maintenance, testing, inspection, and repair of medical devices, particularly in renal haemodialysis and reverse osmosis units, as well as in patients' homes. Candidates should possess a strong technical background in healthcare engineering—whether as a technician or test and repair engineer—along with skills in various engineering disciplines such as electrical, electronic, or mechanical. Relevant experience from other industries may also be considered, and training will be provided.

The ideal applicant will be self-motivated, capable of organizing complex work programs, and adept at problem-solving, with strong communication skills and a commitment to using medical devices safely and effectively. Responsibilities also include ensuring the functionality of servicing tools, participating in an out-of-hours emergency on-call service, and engaging in continuing professional development.
