An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our dedicated team of secretaries at Sheffield Children's as a Secretarial Assistant within the Surgery & Critical Care Group.
You will provide vital support to a variety of departments, including ENT/Plastics, Neurosurgery, Ophthalmology, Trauma and Orthopaedics, and the Paediatric Surgical Unit.
This is a great role for someone who is conscientious, enjoys working as part of a team and can manage a busy workload while maintaining standards of accuracy and attention to detail.
Reporting into the Secretarial Team Leader, your responsibilities will include:
Provide high quality clinical typing and administrative services to clinical teams and their secretaries.
Produce dictated correspondence using audio and digital transcribers.
Support the smooth running of the office, ensuring tasks are completed promptly.
Manage a busy workload, adapting and responding to changing priorities

Please note that Sheffield Children's uplift pay to meet the Real Living Wage, which is £12.60 per hour.
