Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a compassionate Clinical Psychologist, Forensic Psychologist, or Counselling Psychologist to join their male rehabilitation services within the Rehabilitation and High Support Care hub in Rochdale. The role is based at Prospect Place, a 45-bed low secure unit catering to men aged 18 to 65 with diagnosed psychotic disorders who have been detained under the Mental Health Act. The successful candidate will engage with complex mental health issues, including trauma and substance misuse, providing psychological assessments, interventions, and support for the multidisciplinary team. The position offers opportunities for professional development, flexible working arrangements, and involvement in service improvements.

The post-holder will collaborate with a dedicated psychology team, attend multidisciplinary meetings, facilitate reflective clinical discussions, and deliver training and supervision to colleagues. The role also includes contributing to governance and quality improvement projects. The position is available at band 8a, with potential for a band 7 to 8a preceptorship for suitable candidates. Regular supervision and peer support will be provided to foster a collaborative working environment.
