This is a role for a Maintenance Operative at Avery Healthcare, a leading provider of luxury elderly care homes in the UK. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the building and grounds, undertaking a variety of routine maintenance tasks, checks to services, and basic fixes to equipment and systems to ensure the facilities are fully functional.
As a Maintenance Operative, you will focus on ensuring the building and grounds are well maintained. Your responsibilities will include carrying out general maintenance tasks and basic repairs, supporting new residents to arrange their room, ensuring routine re-decoration is undertaken, and advising on the supply and quality of items used to carry out tasks. You will also be required to provide an out-of-hours emergency service and participate in the on-call rota.
