The Principal Pharmacist – Community and Integrated Care Directorate Lead at Croydon Health Services NHS Trust will spearhead initiatives aimed at improving medicines optimisation, minimizing inappropriate polypharmacy, and reducing medicine-related harm through a focus on person-centred care. This role involves managing the Integrated Community Network Medicines Optimisation Service (ICN MOS) and collaborating with various partner organisations within the One Croydon Alliance to enhance healthcare delivery for local residents.

In addition to providing strategic leadership to community services and the Integrated Care Directorate, the post holder will work closely with the Associate Chief Pharmacist to align pharmacy services with departmental strategies and national initiatives. Responsibilities also include overseeing clinical services, providing financial oversight regarding drug expenditure, and ensuring access to up-to-date clinical information for pharmacists. This role offers a significant opportunity for leadership within an integrated service environment, with training and support provided as needed.
