The Powys Teaching Health Board is seeking a Band 6 Specialist Practitioner for Eating Disorders to join their All Age Eating Disorder team, primarily based in Brecon but involving travel throughout Powys. The role entails working within a multidisciplinary team to provide specialist assessment, treatment, and care for individuals with eating disorders, including children, young people, and adults. The successful candidate should have a strong understanding of relevant mental health legislation, effective communication skills, and a commitment to recovery-oriented and trauma-informed care.

Ideal applicants will be enthusiastic, self-motivated, and flexible, with a solid evidence-based knowledge of eating disorder treatment models and NICE guidelines. The position also offers opportunities for professional growth and development within a supportive team environment. While Welsh language skills are desirable, candidates who speak either Welsh or English are encouraged to apply.
