Health Education and Improvement Wales (HEIW) is seeking a Head of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Programme Delivery for Pharmacy in Cardiff. This leadership role involves overseeing the strategic development and coordination of the Pharmacy CPD programme to address the educational needs of the pharmacy workforce, aligned with the goals of "Pharmacy: Delivering a Healthier Wales" and NHS Wales priorities. The position requires strong collaboration with stakeholders across Wales and the UK to ensure that the programme meets regulatory requirements and future professional visions, while also exploring innovative, multi-disciplinary CPD solutions.

The successful candidate will be a registered Pharmacy professional responsible for managing a team, leading national projects, and fostering relationships with key stakeholders, including government and healthcare organisations. They will also contribute to the Pharmacy Senior Leadership Team, participate in consultations and committees, and oversee performance quality reporting and budget accountability. This role offers an opportunity for impactful work in education and training within the pharmacy sector, requiring one day a week in the South Wales office and occasional travel for stakeholder meetings.
