We are looking for an experienced, self-motivated and dynamic dietitian to provide clinical support to patients and to help develop the Community Dietetic Service in Wiltshire.
The successful candidate will work alongside colleagues in the multi-disciplinary team to support adult patients with a range of clinical conditions in outpatient clinics, care homes, community hospital wards, group education, virtual clinics and in their own homes. This is a senior level role and the role will support a range of complex nutritional issues and nutritional support, as well as providing support to less experienced staff.
The role includes a weekly commitment to provide dietetic input to support a specialist area- learning disabilities, home enteral feeding, gastroenterology being options open to discussion. There could also be an opportunity to experience Paediatrics if interested in this clinical area. It is a chance to experience a varied and interesting role.
The Community Dietetic Team is part of the larger Wiltshire Health and Care team of 26 dietitians covering the whole county and working in a variety of clinical specialties. Working from 2 main office bases, one in the north, Chippenham and one in the south, Salisbury/Wilton of the county, we have excellent administrative support, regular CPD opportunities, and provide student training opportunities. Due to the nature of the role it is essential that applicants are able to travel independently across the locality and have access to a suitable vehicle for business purposes. Adjustments can be considered in accordance with the Equality Act 2.
