The Emergency Medical Retrieval and Transfer Service (Cymru) is Wales' exciting and innovative aeromedical/ car-based Pre-Hospital and transfer service. The Wales Air Ambulance Charity provide H145 helicopters as well as Volvo and Audi Response cars. We provide both medical/ practitioner teams to our communities and put the patient at the centre of our life saving operations.

We also deliver an Adult Critical Care Transfer Service (ACCTS) which is predominately a road-based service with dedicated critical care transfer staff, vehicles and equipment from our bases in Cardiff and Bangor.

The organisation is now entering a significant period of change, and we are looking for an HR professional to support our transformation process.

The Workforce Business Partner will act as a senior member of Swansea University's Health Board's Workforce & Organisational Development Team.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing complex workforce advice to the delivery groups on organisational development initiatives and strategic change management, using workforce data to inform decision making and planning
  • Work with senior management teams to design and implement management and team structures which facilitate delivery of strategic and operational objectives
  • Advising on complex employee relations cases which are multifaceted where no precedent exists. Employing advanced communication skills for managing discussions with the service groups, senior managers, staff
  • Providing expert advice within the delivery group on contract management, effective workforce planning, recruitment and deployment based on business data insights, culture development, through effective staff involvement, team working and engagement, staff well-being.
