The role of Research Assistant Practitioner at University Hospitals Plymouth NHS Trust involves working in the CARES team (Cardiac, Anaesthetics, Respiratory, Surgery, and Stroke Research) within the Research and Development Department. Key responsibilities include:

- Providing daily care for participants in clinical studies, including screening, recruitment, and follow-up.
- Working under the supervision of registered practitioners and adhering to local and national protocols.
- Delivering high-quality nursing care and ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for patients and visitors.
- Supporting the training and assessment of peers, and participating in a multidisciplinary team approach to patient care.
- Engaging with patients and their families, promoting health education, and implementing infection control practices.

Candidates with relevant experience, especially internal Trust staff or those with 'At Risk' status, will be prioritized. The position offers a supportive environment with opportunities for training and professional development.
