To be responsible for the receipt and distribution of Sterile Surgical Instrumentation and the collection and dispatch of used/soiled Surgical Instrumentation to and from all areas of Trust. To be responsible for ensuring that all instrumentation movement is recorded using specialist computer database software and scanning equipment. To manually handle incoming and outgoing goods as required. To ensure that a complete, efficient and auditable stock control system is maintained.
To be responsible for the maintenance of tray history records and all associated spreadsheets and files. To be responsible for checking and amending the data produced by service users in relation to tray history. To be responsible for raising purchase orders for supplies
