EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT NHS WEEKEND
The Medicines Management Assistant (MMA) role at University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust involves supporting the pharmacy team in delivering patient-focused care across various hospital departments, including the Emergency Department and specialist wards. The position requires the successful applicant to manage and replenish drug stock, dispense urgent items, and ensure the safe and timely delivery of pharmaceutical services to inpatients and outpatients. Additionally, the role includes working on weekends, bank holidays, and evenings, requiring flexibility to meet team needs.

Candidates must possess a QCF/NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services or an equivalent qualification, along with strong communication and IT skills. Key responsibilities include maintaining adequate stock levels on designated wards, processing stock requests, dispensing medications accurately, and participating in personal and team training initiatives to enhance service delivery. The position is band 3, offering a salary range of £21,730 to £23,177 for a full-time commitment of 37.5 hours per week.
