The Ministry of Defence is seeking a full-time Senior Mental Health Social Worker to join their team at Bulford Healthcare Facility, offering 37 hours per week. The role comes with a £5,000 market supplement (pro-rata), a Civil Service pension with substantial employer contributions, gym access, free parking, and flexible working options.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide effective Mental Health Social Work (MHSW) as part of the Defence Community Mental Health (DCMH).
  • Manage patient caseloads and support the DCMH management with advice on safeguarding and service delivery.
  • Contribute to the development of service initiatives and undertake additional clinical/management tasks as agreed with supervisors.


Selection Process:
Candidates will be assessed based on their CV and will need to demonstrate specific behaviors during interviews. A probation period of six months applies to new employees. Successful candidates must meet security requirements for appointment.
