The Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a dedicated and motivated Band 6 Community Learning Disability Nurse to join their West Surrey Community team, which supports adults with learning disabilities. The role involves managing a diverse caseload across West Surrey and North East Hampshire, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and working closely with various agencies to deliver high-quality, evidence-based healthcare interventions. Candidates should have strong communication skills, be adept at conducting comprehensive assessments, and demonstrate a commitment to professional development and teamwork.

In addition to direct nursing responsibilities, the successful applicant will contribute to the supervision and development of junior staff, engage in the creation of care plans, and advocate for the needs of individuals with learning disabilities. Responsibilities also include maintaining high standards of clinical practice in accordance with relevant guidelines and legislation, performing risk assessments, and participating in quality assurance and training initiatives.
