Achieving For Children is seeking five Trainee Education Wellbeing Practitioners to provide early mental health interventions for children and young people in Twickenham. This role involves working with Mental Health Support Teams while undergoing training at Kings College London for a one-year postgraduate diploma in Education Mental Health Practice. The practitioners will deliver evidence-based guided self-help therapeutic interventions for those experiencing mild to moderate mental health challenges, working closely with educational and healthcare settings.

Candidates will be employed full-time on a salaried NHS Band 4 scale, with the expectation of continuing in the role post-training on a Band 5 scale upon successful completion. Candidates must be prepared to start by mid-January 2025 and must apply simultaneously to both Achieving for Children and Kings College London for the training program. Supervision and professional development support will be provided throughout the training period.
