We are pleased to announce an exciting opportunity to join our Single Point of Access Team as a
Referral Triage Administrator
. In this role, you will play a crucial part in delivering excellent patient care by ensuring that patients and service users are directed to the appropriate services that best meet their needs.

Working Hours:

We operate a
7-day service
, with shifts running from
07:30 am to 20:00 pm
, including coverage during bank holidays. As such,
flexibility
is required in this role.

Please note, our service has now moved to
Sandwell Council House
, which will be your main base of work.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Referral and Documentation Management
    : Upload referrals and relevant documents to patient records accurately.

  • Communication
    : Receive and make telephone calls to assist patients, service users, and internal teams.

  • Appointment Scheduling
    : Book appointments for patients as per clinical and non-clinical requests.

  • Administrative Support
    : Perform general administrative duties as required, including filing and record-keeping.

  • Liaison with External Agencies
    : Coordinate with external agencies such as GPs, NHS 111, and West Midlands Ambulance Services.
