The South West London and St George's Mental Health NHS Trust is seeking an "Involvement Volunteer Coordinator" in Tooting to enhance the role of volunteers in mental health services. Candidates should have experience working with volunteers and a deep understanding of mental health impacts. Responsibilities include leading volunteer recruitment, training, and supervision, developing effective systems and processes for volunteering, and maintaining a diverse volunteer base across various service lines. The coordinator will work autonomously to implement volunteer strategies, act as Deputy Team Leader when required, and facilitate peer support initiatives.

Key tasks include collaborating with clinical staff to improve volunteer placements, promoting volunteer opportunities in the community, and ensuring volunteers receive appropriate training. The role involves maintaining volunteer databases, managing operational duties in the absence of the team leader, and contributing to the wider Involvement Team goals.
