The Paediatric Dietetic Assistant Practitioner position with Aneurin Bevan University Health Board in Newport involves supporting the Paediatric Diabetes team in delivering nutrition and dietetic services to children with Type 1 diabetes. The role includes coordinating insulin pump initiatives and providing education to patients and their families, adhering to professional conduct guidelines. The practitioner will work independently in various settings, such as homes, schools, and clinics, and will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals.

The successful candidate must be willing to travel between locations and will receive training and supervision from registered dietitians and the diabetes team. Fluency in Welsh or English is welcomed. The position emphasises teamwork and community support, working with schools and social services as necessary.
