Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust is seeking Male Nursing Assistants for their Secure Care Division in Liverpool/Warrington. This role is tailored for individuals with experience in mental health settings who wish to develop their skills in providing care within forensic and secure mental health services, one of only three Trusts in the UK with high secure services. The position involves direct care and observation of service users, including assisting with daily living activities, reporting health observations to qualified staff, and ensuring effective communication about care plans.

The Nursing Assistants will coordinate the delivery of care programs under the supervision of qualified practitioners, support service users with medication management, and help facilitate recreational and occupational activities. Additional responsibilities include maintaining safety, de-escalating aggressive situations, and contributing to risk management plans.
