We are seeking to recruit an innovative and forward thinking accredited checking Pharmacy Technician who is able to thrive in a busy environment. They must have a "can do and will do" attitude and be able to overcome challenges in the day to day operations of the Pharmacy setting and maintaining the high standards expected by the GPhC, the Trust and its patients.
The candidate must be a qualified checking Pharmacy Technician. It is essential that the candidate be professional and diplomatic with good communication skills and have the ability to prioritise their working day under pressure, whilst ensuring company values and behaviours are upheld.

The Trust has an Electronic Clinical Patient Record/EPMA System where vital signs are recorded direct from BP machines, electronic prescribing and electronic drug charts are in use Trust-wide and patient documentation (clinical notes, care planning) are now electronic for the entire multidisciplinary team. This has transformed our working practices and is a really exciting time to join the Trust.
The Pharmacy also has automated the dispensing, distribution and storage of Pharmaceutical medicines by installing a Mach 4 Robot. We also have an Omnicell dispensing cabinet in use in the Pharmacy
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated technician to join our team of rotational technicians. The post holder will participate in a structured rotational programme gaining experience and training in:
You will also be able to undertake Good Clinical Practice (GCP) training and, if appropriate, work towards gaining the Practice Supervisor (PS) or Educational Supervisor (ES) qualification.
