The Nursing Associate position at Croydon Health Services NHS Trust requires a candidate to deliver nursing care to a designated patient population under the guidance of a registered nurse. This full-time position of 37.5 hours per week is based at Thornton Heath Health Centre as part of the ongoing transformation of Adult Community Services in Croydon. The role offers a comprehensive induction program, opportunities for professional development, and requires all applicants to hold a clean driving license with access to a car for work purposes. The post holder will be expected at all times to work within the NMC Standards of Proficiency for Nursing Associates to meet with individual needs of the designated patient population. The post holder will be accountable to the registered nurse in charge of the ward/department for the delivery of nursing care to a specific group of patients. The post holder will organise own time and that of junior staff, delegating to junior staff and learners, and participating in teaching and education programmes for staff and patients.
