The GP will be responsible for a variety of general practice consultations, providing both face-to-face and remote support. Duties include assessing and managing patients with both undifferentiated and complex medical issues, collaboratively planning and implementing treatment interventions, and proactively managing patients at risk of developing long-term conditions. Competitive market rates and additional pay for bank holidays are offered for this fulfilling role within a dynamic healthcare environment.
This is an exciting opportunity for a forward-thinking Locum General Practitioner to join our multidisciplinary team as a sessional doctor at the Royal Free or Barnet Urgent Treatment Centre.
Applications are invited from GPs who would like to work sessional hours and are able to commence as soon as possible. Full GMC registration is required and applicants must be on the GMC General Practice Register and the GP performers List for England
Working at the Royal Free or Barnet UTC is highly rewarding, providing care to patients face to face, when they are most in need. UTC doctors have significantly lower demands on admin tasks than in routine general practice, meaning that when you are clinical you can focus all your efforts on your patients.
We pay a competitive market rate, plus enhancements for bank holidays.

1.A range of general practice consultations telephone, remote and face-to-face
2.Primary Care support to other clinical and non-clinical staff
3.Telephone support to other clinicians from our UTC services
4.Assess,diagnose,plan,implementandevaluatetreatment/interventionsandcareforpatientspresenting with an undifferentiateddiagnosis
5.Clinically examine and assess patient needs from a physiological and psychological perspective and plan clinical care accordingly and holistically
6.Assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate interventions/treatments for patients with complex needs. Proactively identify, diagnose and manage treatment plans for patients at risk of developing a long-term condition (as appropriate)
7.Diagnose and manage both acute and chronic conditions, integrating both drug -and non-drug-based treatment methods into a management plan
