The role of Staff Nurse at Corby Community Hospital, part of the Northamptonshire Healthcare Foundation Trust, is a fixed-term Band 5 position focused on inpatient physical health rehabilitation. The successful candidate will join a collaborative team of healthcare professionals, including nurses, medics, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists, providing individualized care for patients transitioning from acute healthcare settings. Responsibilities include assessing patient needs, developing care plans, monitoring care quality, and collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to facilitate patient discharge. Additionally, the Staff Nurse will perform various clinical skills, such as medication administration, wound care, and catheterisation, while supporting the Ward Sister in managing the patient team and supervising junior staff.
