The Endoscopy Practitioner role at Brecon Hospital, part of the Powys Teaching Health Board, focuses on delivering high-quality direct patient care for individuals undergoing various endoscopic procedures. The practitioner will assist endoscopists during procedures and provide specialized support to patients throughout their treatment, including pre-assessment and post-discharge management. The position also involves admitting and discharging patients while fostering effective communication and collaboration with various healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.

Candidates for this role should be highly motivated and possess excellent communication skills to maintain strong working relationships within the department. The unit emphasises training for clinical endoscopists and offers opportunities for further professional development. While the ability to speak Welsh is desirable, applications are welcomed from both English and Welsh speakers.
