The Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Head of Corporate Governance for a fixed-term contract of 12 months. This role involves supporting the Director of Integrated Governance in managing the corporate governance function and overseeing the decision-making processes of the Trust's Board of Directors. The Head of Corporate Governance will also act as a deputy when needed, and will lead a team that includes Executive Assistants, a Board Support Officer, and a Membership Manager, all dedicated to providing support for both Executive and Non-Executive Directors within a positive and inclusive work environment.

Key responsibilities include promoting high standards of corporate governance, drafting sensitive documents for the Trust Board, managing Board meetings and their associated administrative tasks, maintaining an effective annual cycle of business, and reviewing governance policies. Additionally, this position will support Non-Executive Directors in their roles and oversee the Trust's Membership Office. Strong leadership skills and attention to procedural compliance are essential for success in this role.
