The role of Community Staff Nurse at Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in Crewe involves joining a dynamic community care team in a permanent capacity. Candidates must be NMC registered and possess a full UK driving license and car. The position requires effective communication and interpersonal skills, adaptability, and the ability to work independently while managing a designated caseload. Responsibilities include assessing nursing care needs, implementing and evaluating care programs, delivering high-quality holistic care, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals. The successful applicant will work Monday to Sunday between the hours of 08:00 and 17:00, with flexibility required to meet service demands. They will support end-of-life and long-term care, maintain patient independence, and promote self-care within the community. The position offers a structured induction and ongoing mentorship to foster professional development within a supportive team environment.
