The Doncaster & Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals NHS FT is seeking a dedicated Resuscitation Officer to join its Resuscitation Services team, focusing on patient safety. The ideal candidate will be a current Registered Nurse (Adult) or Operating Department Practitioner with significant post-registration experience in emergency or adult acute care. Having a Resuscitation Council (UK) Advanced Life Support provider certification and ideally an instructor qualification is essential. The role involves developing and delivering a comprehensive Resuscitation Service, contributing to clinical practice, education, and adherence to policies, while ensuring compliance with local and national guidelines.

The Resuscitation Officer will work under the Clinical Education Manager and the Resuscitation Lead, providing support and guidance on resuscitation training and education across the Trust. Responsibilities include planning training to meet various requirements, participating in educational policy development, and engaging with networking events to share best practices. This position offers an opportunity to shape the quality of patient care through high-quality, research-based training and support within a professional and patient-focused team.
