The Clinical Office Coordinator for Trauma & Orthopaedics at Ashford & St. Peter's Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in Chertsey will play a vital role in the Outpatient Team amid the expansion of surgical elective theatres. This full-time position involves general office duties, including managing patient referrals, handling patient inquiries, and ensuring adherence to the 18-week patient pathway for timely treatment. The ideal candidate should demonstrate excellent communication skills, a commitment to quality care, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Familiarity with healthcare systems such as Cerner and Dictate I.T. is desirable, but training will be provided.

The role includes transcribing dictation letters, processing outpatient appointments, maintaining documentation accuracy, and supporting improvement projects within a transforming service. The coordinator will also liaise with patients, GPs, and other staff to ensure high-quality service and compliance with departmental standards, while monitoring and reporting any potential delays in patient pathways to ensure optimal patient care. Regular team meetings and collaborative efforts with the Patient Pathway Team will further facilitate the timely delivery of services.
