ACUTE CORONARY SYNDROME CHEST PAIN MULTI-DISCIPLINARY NHS
The Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Band 6 Acute Coronary Syndrome (ACS) Clinical Nurse Specialist to join their dynamic team at the Royal Free Hospital. The successful candidate will work as an autonomous practitioner within the Cardiology Multi-Disciplinary Team, responsible for assessing patients, organizing cardiac investigations, interpreting results, and developing care plans under the supervision of the Lead Consultant for Chest Pain. Key responsibilities include managing patients in the Rapid Access Chest Pain clinic, providing expert clinical support and advice to patients, carers, and healthcare professionals, and overseeing the ACS Virtual Ward for low-risk patients.

This role requires effective collaboration within a friendly team of experienced cardiac nurses, who strive to deliver high-quality care and management to patients experiencing ACS. The CNS will play a critical role in identifying and onboarding patients to the ACS Virtual Ward, ensuring they receive continuous monitoring and support throughout their treatment journey.
