Band 7: £46,148 to £52,809 a year pro rata per annum  PERMANENT  GOOD SALARY 

The Stockport NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 7 Children's Community Learning Disability Team Leader for a part-time position (30 hours per week) within their Children's Community Learning Disability Team. The role requires flexibility to work Monday to Friday and necessitates experience with children and young people with learning disabilities and challenging behavior. A full driving license and vehicle access are essential for community work.

Key responsibilities include:

- Managing a caseload and delivering care programs to children and families.
- Conducting behavioral assessments and formulating intervention strategies.
- Training parents and professionals.
- Working in various settings, including homes, schools, and hospitals.

Candidates should possess strong communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills, as well as the ability to handle emotionally challenging situations. The role emphasises collaboration with other agencies, health promotion, and comprehensive assessments of complex needs. An enhanced DBS check will be required for employment.
