The University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust is seeking a Senior Pharmacist for its Aseptic Services team, who will also support the pharmaceutical care of patients undergoing chemotherapy. The ideal candidate will be a motivated and skilled pharmacist with experience in production or quality control, familiar with GMP, GCP, and MHRA standards. The role involves acting as the Deputy Accountable Pharmacist, assisting in the development and maintenance of the Aseptic Service, overseeing aseptic preparation processes, and ensuring compliance with pharmaceutical quality standards.

Key responsibilities include collaborating with the Aseptic/Quality Assurance team, conducting training for pharmacy staff, providing clinical support in chemotherapy delivery, and engaging in clinical governance and education initiatives. The position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to innovative pharmaceutical care in a large acute teaching hospital while working closely with healthcare professionals to improve patient outcomes in complex treatment scenarios.
