Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Healthcare Support Worker to join their multidisciplinary teams in Winchester. This role involves assisting Registered Nurses in planning, delivering, and evaluating patient care, requiring effective communication skills and a commitment to maintaining high standards. The position is dynamic and involves working varied shifts, including long days, nights, weekends, and bank holidays. Applicants must be at least 18 years old and ready to work a minimum of 23 hours per week.

Candidates should demonstrate an understanding of the role, showcase their ability to foster positive working relationships, and align themselves with the Trust's values. An in-person interview day is scheduled for November 15, 2024, at The Royal Hampshire County Hospital, where candidates will participate in presentations and interviews. Note that visa sponsorship is not available for this position, and current Healthcare Support Workers at HHFT should consult their line managers instead of applying.

This will require you to:

The Healthcare Support Worker role is varied and busy as you will be working a variety of shifts including long days, nights, weekends and bank holidays.

It is essential that within your application you are able to demonstrate an understanding of the role and responsibilities, able to prove how you develop and maintain positive working relationships, along with evidencing how you would demonstrate our Trust values.

You must be a minimum of 18 years old to apply for the role and be willing to work a minimum of 23 hours per week. You must be able to commit to the standard shift pattern for this role which includes long days, nights, weekend and bank holidays.
