The Development and Redesign Manager role at NHS Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin Integrated Care Board involves overseeing significant system change initiatives and providing support for commissioning, service redesign, and project management within the Strategy and Development Team. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with senior clinical and managerial leaders, as well as external agencies, to promote person-centred care and employ a Population Health Management approach to enhance outcome-based commissioning across various specialties. Key responsibilities include supporting Local Care Transformation, addressing health inequalities, planning resource allocation, and ensuring public engagement and compliance with legal requirements during service changes.

In addition to working with multiple directorates to embed the commissioning cycle, the postholder will evaluate complex information, provide planning and performance support, and assist in the successful delivery of major commissioning plans and procurements. Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to communicate effectively with a wide audience are essential, as the role demands engagement with Place and Provider Collaboratives to drive improvements in patient outcomes and local commissioning efforts.
