The Hampshire and Isle of Wight Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 6 Ward Sister or Charge Nurse for the Snowdon Neurological Rehabilitation Unit in Southampton. This role is focused on the care of adults with physical and cognitive impairments resulting from neurological events or conditions. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring safe staffing levels, managing resources efficiently, and maintaining the delivery of high-quality care as part of the rehabilitation services, which includes the newly launched South of England Rehabilitation Centre.

Key responsibilities include assessing and planning patient care, evaluating clinical outcomes, managing daily patient care, and fostering a culture of critical thinking and inquiry among nursing staff. The role also involves effective discharge planning, educating patients and their families, and adhering to legal and professional nursing standards.
