A fantastic opportunity exists for a Band 6 Ward Sister or Charge Nurse who has a passion and special interest in supporting patients within Snowdon Neurological Rehabilitation Unit, which specialises in the treatment of adults with physical and cognitive impairment following a recent neurological event or a long- term neurological condition. The candidate will have responsibility for ensuring safe staffing levels, optimum use of resources and continuity of high-quality service delivery.
The post comes at an exciting time for rehabilitation within Southampton, South-West Hampshire and nationally with the launch of The South of England Rehabilitation Centre (SERC). Within the centre we also operate two level 3 physical rehabilitation wards and a level 2b Neuropsychiatric unit which provide a range of specialist rehabilitation.
