The Junior IT Trainer at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust will focus on delivering training solutions for Epic applications to staff at King’s College Hospital (KCH) and GSTT, particularly in the Outpatient or Diagnostic and Emergency Department training teams. The role involves analyzing, designing, implementing, and evaluating IT training programs to cater to both clinical and non-clinical staff, utilizing various delivery methods such as online learning, classroom instruction, and on-site coaching. The position requires the post-holder to work at least three days a week across both GSTT and KCH sites and entails supporting staff queries and incidents related to Epic applications.

The ideal candidate will possess knowledge of NHS culture and best practices and will be engaged in continuous professional development, including opportunities for Epic certification. Key responsibilities include assessing training needs, preparing learning materials, piloting training sessions, and providing feedback and support to learners. The role also includes collaboration with the wider ITCS Training Team, participating in evaluations of training effectiveness, and maintaining strong communication within the organisation. Flexibility in working hours, including potential out-of-hours commitments, is also a requirement of the job.
