Job description
Morthen Road Group Practice is a well established four partner GMS practice, caring for 12500 patients over 3 sites in Rotherham.
Our GPs are supported by a highly skilled team of ANPs, Nurses, Nurse Associate, Healthcare and Pharmacists as well as an incredible administration team and an approachable and forward thinking Leadership Team. In addition, we have a variety of ARRS roles to compliment our provision which includes Pharmacists, Pharmacy Technicians, First Contact Physios, Mental Health team, Social Prescribers and Nurse Associates.
The team work hard to care for our patients and as such are high QOF achievers. We receive positive patient feedback on a daily basis and were rated Good at our last CQC inspection.

Responsibilities:- Provide primary care services to patients of all ages- Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and medical assessments- Diagnose and treat various acute and chronic illnesses- Prescribe medications and administer treatments as necessary- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as medical imaging or laboratory tests- Collaborate with specialists and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care- Educate patients on preventive healthcare measures and promote healthy lifestyle choices
Skills:- Knowledgeable in medical imaging techniques and interpretation- Skilled in medication administration and dosage calculations- Strong patient care skills, including effective communication and empathy- In-depth understanding of human anatomy and physiology- Knowledge of nursing home regulations and protocols for elderly care- Understanding of public health principles and disease prevention strategies- Ability to provide compassionate end-of-life care
