The Queen Elizabeth Hospital King's Lynn NHSFT is seeking a Band 7 Highly Specialist Occupational Therapist to join their Acute Stroke Therapy team. This clinical role involves working within an integrated team on the West Raynham Stroke Unit, covering the full inpatient stroke pathway from hyper-acute to rehabilitation stages. The successful candidate will lead the Occupational Therapy team, providing specialized assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for patients with complex stroke presentations, while also supporting and supervising junior staff. Responsibilities include developing systems for high-quality rehabilitation delivery, coordinating occupational therapy services, and contributing to the multidisciplinary team.

The position requires advanced clinical reasoning skills to manage nuanced patient needs and ensure effective rehabilitation outcomes before discharge. Applicants are encouraged to visit the workplace to meet the team and see the facilities. Weekend work may be included in the rota, emphasizing the proactive and collaborative approach to patient care within this rehabilitation service.
