MENTAL HEALTH NHS ROLE MODEL
The Associate Director for Mental Health, Learning Disabilities, and Autism (MHLDA) with the North West London Integrated Care Board plays a critical leadership role in enhancing health services across the Integrated Care System (ICS). The position involves collaboration with local stakeholders, including residents, service providers, and borough partnerships to reduce health inequalities, improve care pathways, and ensure the effective delivery of MHLDA programs. Responsibilities also include strategic planning, overseeing the transformation and commissioning of services, and ensuring quality and efficiency in care delivery.

In addition to program leadership, the Associate Director will manage budgetary responsibilities and work towards the NHS's commitment to environmental sustainability. The role requires strong stakeholder engagement skills to navigate complex relationships and facilitate transformational change, emphasizing co-production and equitable access to services. Overall, the Associate Director will lead efforts to ensure that MHLDA services meet community needs while fostering a collaborative, inclusive culture within the organisation.
