Cambridge University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic nurse for the role of Thrombosis Treatment Team and Thrombophilia Specialist Support Nurse in their non-malignant haematology division. The successful candidate will work within two specialist nursing teams, focusing on a fast-track service for outpatient management of suspected deep vein thrombosis (DVT) and providing anticoagulant counselling and monitoring. Responsibilities include assessing patients, ordering diagnostic tests, reviewing results, patient education, initiating and monitoring anticoagulation, and providing compression hosiery. The role requires a commitment to delivering high-quality, individualized patient care and may involve a flexible rota, including weekends and bank holidays.
