The Forensic Recovery College Advanced Peer Trainer role at Midlands Partnership NHS Foundation Trust in Stafford requires a candidate with excellent communication skills and the ability to adapt engagement strategies based on individual recovery stages. This position involves leveraging personal lived experience to facilitate and co-deliver recovery education courses within the Forensic Directorates, specifically at The Hatherton Medium Secure Service and the Low Secure Service in Shrewsbury. Additionally, the role includes day-to-day coordination of the Forensic Recovery College, networking with other recovery colleges, and contributing to the development and promotion of the college’s offerings.

The successful applicant will also take on responsibilities such as managing trainer development, supporting administrative tasks, and ensuring co-production in course creation. They will work closely with coordinators and trainers to promote educational initiatives, maintain communication with stakeholders, and provide input on attendance reporting for courses. The role allows for part-time work and offers the flexibility to choose between the Stafford or Shrewsbury locations.
