The role of Deputy Sister/Charge Nurse in the Acute Medical Unit at Bournemouth's University Hospitals Dorset NHS Foundation Trust offers an exciting opportunity for dynamic individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment involving medical emergencies and diverse specialties. The position involves coordinating the unit, managing patient flow, and supporting the nursing team to deliver high-quality care tailored to the acute needs of patients. We are looking for motivated individuals who want to develop as leaders to join our senior nursing team on the Acute Medical Unit. This is an exciting time to join AMU with future developments. You will enjoy a challenge where no two days are the same and join a team that is committed to providing the best possible patient care at the front door.

You will be responsible for co-ordinating the Unit, and managing flow through the department, whilst supporting the team to deliver quality care in meeting the acute and changing needs of our patients.

This role required NMC Registration

Base Location: Royal Bournemouth Hospital
