The role of Highly Specialist Cognitive Behavioural Therapist with Tees Esk and Wear Valleys NHS Foundation Trust involves providing comprehensive clinical leadership within the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) in Durham and Darlington. The successful candidate will engage in direct clinical work with children and their families while also offering supervision, consultation, and training to team members. Applicants must possess extensive experience in delivering psychological interventions to young people with varying mental health challenges, be accredited in cognitive behavioural therapy with the BABCP, and have qualifications in clinical supervision.

The position encourages innovation in service development and requires the therapist to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team, manage their own caseload, conduct risk assessments, and offer guidance to families regarding treatment options.
