Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board is seeking a motivated Clerk Typist/Filing Clerk to join the Community Services team in Merthyr & Cynon, based at Ysbyty Cwm Cynon. The successful candidate will support the medical secretarial service by performing various administrative tasks, including typing, filing, and retrieving patient medical notes. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong communication, organisational, and IT skills are essential. The role also involves interacting with patients, relatives, and external partners, necessitating a good understanding of customer care.

Candidates with familiarity in NHS information systems, specifically Myrddin and Welsh Clinical Portal, and knowledge of Referral to Treatment times will be preferred. The position requires independence and teamwork, highlighting the need for excellent telephone communication and clerical capabilities, along with a willingness to undertake audio typing as part of the administrative support to the medical secretarial team.
