The Sandwell and West Birmingham NHS Trust is seeking dynamic and passionate Health Visitors to join their highly-rated Health Visiting Service in West Bromwich. Both full-time and part-time positions, as well as bank roles, are available for qualified Nurses or Midwives who have completed or are currently undergoing training as Specialist Community Public Health Nurses. The Trust encourages innovative professionals who can effectively utilize electronic and manual systems, possess excellent organisational and communication skills, and have a strong understanding of the current health agenda related to children's services.

The Health Visiting Service is committed to providing high-quality care to communities and has adapted its practices during the pandemic to ensure safe support for families. The role requires candidates to meet travel requirements and engage in the ongoing transformation of Health Visiting methods. Applicants should be a qualified Nurse/Midwife who have qualified (or currently in training) as a Specialist Community Public Health Nurse and require good organisational abilities, excellent interpersonal skills and be able to communicate effectively, utilising electronic and manual systems.

Excellent knowledge of the current health agenda relating to Children's Services and Health Visiting is a necessity and the ability to meet the travel requirements of the role.

At SWBH we have been continuing to re-shape the way Health Visitors work and throughout the pandemic we have kept our Health Visitors working safely with local families by introducing new and innovative practices. With the provision of laptops and mobile phones to all our staff and with additional technological solutions, we were able to implement the necessary changes to continue to provide the support our families require and welcome.
